N64 emulation in general is really spotty, but this plus the GlideN64 plugin offers the best mix between accuracy, graphics and, ease of use I find. Don't use ZSNES, it's outdated and inaccurate. Higan is cycle-accurate, but Snes9X is accurate and has ease of use. I would suggest taking a look at /r/emulation's wiki and the Emulation General wiki for detailed information, but here's my personal list: ConsoleĬycle-accurate and has decent UI and features. Even a budget modern phone like the ( ) with a 1.2 GHz processor can run the MMSF games at full-speed. While this may sound counter-intuitive, phones processors use the a similar architecture to the DS (ARMv4 or ARMv5 or ARMv6, I dunno), which makes the JIT really fast.

If using DeSmuME + JIT as well as OBS still doesn't work for you, this will sound strange but if you have an decently-modern Android phone, you can try emulating the games on your phone at full-speed with DraStic.

I find OBS to be quite lightweight compared to other recording software. I use OBS (with this guide) to record my stuff. Then in the Emulation Settings panel, select Dynamic Recompiler.

#DS EMULATOR MAC THAT DOESN'T SUCK PORTABLE#
I own a Shield Portable and I guess I post some stuff I have in it which you should look into it if you can. Although some also don't and information is cluttered all over the web. Nowadays many have their own wiki with help and tips.
#DS EMULATOR MAC THAT DOESN'T SUCK ARCHIVE#
It's the go to for arcade stuff, there's an archive of about 60 gigabytes with a shit load of games. Runs some games pretty well, others not at all, but overall moving in great stried. Not as good as Dolphin for the Wii, but a pretty mature emulator that runs most games well. Generally runs well and has some nice features. NullDC is probably the most promising and might run some games better than DEmul. NullDC, Reicast and ReDream are three in development emulators. Not perfect, but also supports a bunch of other Sega consoles.ĭEmul, good for some games, but not very accurate. Yabause, not perfect compatibility, but making good strides and has more features than other emulators. Works well for lots of games, but still has issues. Works well for some games, but still in development.Ĭemu. Paid app on Android, but a great emulator.Ĭitra. Not great, but for now the best on PC.ĭraStic. Also has an android core in RetroArch.ĭeSmuME. Use the nightlies, they are way ahead of the latest stable release and usually work very well.
